Ya know those movies in the submarines and the sub gets hit and they start going down. They try frantically but can't seal the leak and the water level slowly rises. The crew all knows they're gonna die and eventually the water level overtakes them and they drown. Well the exact same thing but in reverse almost happened last night to the fish. So last night at about 2 AM I come home and I hear the vacuum on downstairs which was very strange. Anyways I go down there and there's Ryan standing in a huge puddle of water vacuuming frantically with the shop vac. Apparently he had gone down there to check on the fish and heard a huge gushing sound and there was water all over the place and very little water left in the tank. The fish would have died had he been a half hour later. So the basement was flooded and we lugged the huge carpet up the stairs and outside so it would dry and we went to bed.
So today played baseball again. It was a big game like last time, 10 vs. 10. Pretty fun game. All the usual suspects were there, AJ, Mellons, Beaucar, Brian, and many many others. Went tag saleing this morning too; found some solid sports paraphernalia .
Then we came back and did a lot of work on the tanks to get them back up and running. I think we're going to abandon the 40 gallon tank as a means of holding fish. We're prolly gonna turn it into a reptile tank and start a zoo to go with the aquarium. In the mean time we're now looking for free reptiles and tanks.
Now we're prolly gonna play some N64 with some people and eat cookie-cupcakes ( a new hybrid). Peace out.
